Ebola Has A Cure!

There are so many diseases in the world today, some seem to be incurable.  Recently, Ebola virus has been manifesting in some part of the world and people are literary dying from it.  Ebola is said to be highly communicable and science is yet to find a cure for it. However, there is hope for a child of God.  God gave a name that is greater than every name, greater than every sickness, disease or infirmity; that name is JESUS!   "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9-11.  Well, Ebola is a name that has no choice but to bow to the name of Jesus.

Before leaving this world, Jesus instituted the act of Holy Communion for us, His church.  He knew what sickness can do to the human body, and He wanted us to have a solution.  Yes, medical science is amazing, but they are yet to find cure for some diseases.  The Bible says, that ...by the stripes of Jesus we were healed.  1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5.  Jesus took upon Himself all our sicknesses, diseases and infirmities in His body that was broken for us. Isaiah 53: 4 Amp, "Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment]..."
The greatest health insurance a Christian can have is the name of Jesus! The Bible says we are to live by that name.  Acts 17:28,  "for in Him we live and move and have our being..."  "Him" here refers to Jesus.  Colossians 3:17, "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."  What am I saying here? I mean a child of God should live a victorious life because everything we need we have in Jesus.

He paid the price, His own body that was broken for us and He told us to always break bread in remembrance of this. See Scripture references; Luke 22:19, Matthew 26:26.
Jesus can't get sick, so the act of Holy Communion is for our own good.  There is no way you will break bread in the name of Jesus and still be sick, it is not possible.  This is because when you do this, you are proclaiming the Lord's death until He comes back.  Remember that the power of a Christian lies in his/her tongue, you are what you say, what you proclaim.  Holy Communion is very significant, and you don't need a priest to break bread, you can do this all by yourself or with your loved ones.  I can't even begin to describe how much I have benefited from breaking bread. It has so far been the most amazing discovery I have made from the Bible. When everything else fails, break bread.  It works wonders.

If you want to do Holy Communion, here's the scripture reference,   1 Corinthians 11: 23-26.  "For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying,“This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes."

Love, The Greatest Of All.

I have been a Christian for sometime now, by that I mean I have tried to be a serious Christian for about nine years now although I was born in a Christian home. I also have found out that many of us have been brought up under "religion" instead of Christianity.  We have been so brainwashed to in the level of condemnation and works that we do not even know how to stop and experience the love of God.
Even with the revelation of our righteousness being a gift of God in Christ Jesus, some Christians are still living in the realm of works and condemnation. Trying to be right, making extra effort to be a better person and by so doing we find ourselves standing in judgement against others because we believe they are not putting in enough effort to be better like us. I found out one important thing about being a Christian is "LOVE".

Everything about us, our relationship with God and with one another should reflect love.  The Bible says that God is love. "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1st John 4:8.  You see, it doesn't matter how many times we go to church (going to church is important), it doesn't matter that we are leaders in the church, pastors etc. If we have no love, we are wasting our time.

Love attributes reflects the personality of God in us and 1st Corinthians chapter 13 explains the attributes of love better.

In other to love people, we must first of all allow the love of God to flow through us, we must be exposed to the love of God, we must listen to messages that tell us how much God loves us. You cannot give what you don't have; when you allow the love of God to fill you up, it will pour out unto others.  Romans 5: 5 says,  ".... the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."  This means that love is possible. If we open out hearts to God, we can receive His love and in turn share His love.
Satan cannot stand love or an atmosphere of love, demons cannot operate in a love atmosphere because the glory of God is usually revealed in His love.   I think our pastors should preach more about the love of God so we can grow in this love.

Every Child Is Your Child.

To see the clear picture click here.
I read on the Internet the other day about a little girl child that was badly burnt by her caretaker for peeing on the bed. The woman made this little girl to sit on a burning hot plate.  I can't believe a woman, a supposed mother can do this to a child.  Apparently, the little girl was a house girl to this woman. The story pierced my heart with so much sorrow and sadness. However, it got me thinking about our world and how bad some things seem to be.  I also thought how the bad things in this world are being perpetuated by people.  The murderers, the robbers, rapist, prostitutes etc. Every bad thing we hear and see are done by people. These people were once children, children that were supposed to be raised right.   The Bible said, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6.

I believe that if we raise our children right, instill proper discipline in them with love, introduce them to the love of God in Christ Jesus, that our children will turn out to be good people.  Every child is your child, that little house boy or girl you are maltreating will one day grow up and perhaps become a menace to the society.  Meaning, even you and your children will not be safe from him or her.  Invest love in a child today, whether he or she is your child or not.  Pay attention to them, show them love, encourage them, build them up, show them the right way and let God handle the rest.
