Questions For You.

Are you a Christian?
If yes, good for you. If no, ah...please join the Chariot delay is very dangerous.
If the answer is yes, then why are you a Christian?
Okay, maybe because you were born in a Christian home..good, but is that all?

Who is God to you? The Creator, the Judge, or Your Father?
Do you believe in Jesus?
Do you believe in the Bible?
What is your relationship with God? Do you love Him?
What are you willing to sacrifice for God?
Are you intimate with God(I mean you and God alone type of relationship)?
How much time do you give God everyday?
Do you think about Him often?
Do you tell Him how you feel about Him and do you acknowledge how He feels about you?

Please don't be angry about these questions...you know this is a Christian blog.  I ask myself these questions as well. We don't see God physically so except you stay in the Word, you may get carried away by life.  Fact is nobody loves us like Jesus, be conscious of His love and you will see life from the mountain-Top where nothing will move or shake you.   God's banner over us is love.  It's all about love because God is love.  Ask King David, or Apostle John or me:)   God loves you more than you know and wants the best for you, you are the best He has..make Him your best too.

Prayer Is A Discipline.

Prayer is a discipline!    Luke 18:1 KJV,  "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.."   It is very natural to feel lazy about prayers..this is because prayer is a spiritual exercise and you know there's always a fight between the flesh and the spirit.  However, it is our responsibility to subdue our flesh because we cannot live a successful Christian life without a rich prayer life. 

Prayer is an attitude!    Luke 5:16 NKJV, "So He (Jesus) Himself  often  withdrew into the wilderness and prayed."  There are so many references in the Bible about Jesus going away to pray.   Luke 6:12 KJV,.."And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God."   If Jesus our Lord could pray as often as He did, being who He is, how much more you and I?

Prayer is also a seed!  Revelation 8:4 KJV,.."And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand."  Read your Bible, each time Jesus prayed, mighty miracles took place afterward.  Prayer makes power available.   James 5:16 AMP, ..."The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]."  We have different types of prayer, we'll discuss in the future.  God bless you even as you remember to pray always.

You MUST Be Born-Again. No Compromise.

John 14:6 NKJV,..Jesus said to him,  “I am  the way,  the truth, and  the life.  No one comes to the Father  except through Me."
Jesus is the door!  You cannot get to the Father except thru Jesus.  That's what the Bible says and I believe it 100%.  Jesus said, "you MUST be born again"  with strong emphasis on MUST.  It means being born again is a fact that cannot be compromised if you want to be a child of God and make heaven;  if you want to live a life of everlasting joy irrespective of what you see or what happens around you.

See, Jesus did not have any other reason for coming to this world if not for you and I. The world has enough religion, so He didn't come to add one more just for religious purposes. Christianity is NOT a Religion! Jesus died for you! He paid the price of all of your sins! He gave you liberty to use His name to make demands! He asked God to send you the Holy Spirit which God did too! Jesus has perfected our lives and all we need do is to believe and receive.  If you have not giving Jesus your life, what are you waiting for?   Jesus said in John 3 Him as vs 3, “Most assuredly, I say to you,  unless one is born  again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” HOW CAN YOU ENTER IF YOU CAN'T SEE IT.

The Battle Of Life!

Your mind will determine if you will live a successful Christian life or not.  You see, man is a spirit, possessing a soul and lives in a body. Your soul houses your mind, which is where you have your reasoning and emotions.   If you are born-again, it is your spirit that is recreated, not your mind.  Your mind will still think the same thoughts, your desires will still be the same. You are the one responsible for renewing your mind and this is very important because your mind is the doorway to your spirit and your mind will determine what you say and what you say will determine if you will have a happy or a sad life.(take a deep breathe, read it again:)

The battles of life are fought in the mind.  The devil put negative thoughts in the mind, what you see, feel, taste etc can direct your mind too which always go against the will of God for you. This makes the life of a Christian miserable.  BUT THANK GOD WE HAVE THE VICTORY!  2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NLT says,  "We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ."   

 You must fight the good fight of faith! 1 Timothy 6:12. Nobody will fight it for you. Refuse to accept negative thoughts, mind what you read, see, and hear.  The Bible says, "Carefully guard your thoughts because they are the source of true life." PROVERBS 4:23 CEV.  Christianity is a conscious thing. Make up your mind to follow God's Word.  Romans 12:2 NLT,  "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

You Can Have As Much Grace As You Want!

We all like grace, and we would like God's grace to be constantly lavished on us. We like to know that we are walking everyday in the favor of God.  Fact is we can grow in grace, it's not like God chooses to give some people more grace than other people.  Nope! The  Bible said, we are to grow in grace.  2 Peter 3:18 NKJV,  "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him  be  the glory both now and forever. Amen."

How do we grow in grace?  Acts 20:32 NKJV says, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."    This means when we study the Word, we grow in grace, we become aware of all that God has given to us and how to get them and use them.     There's no short-cut with God,  you must study the Word, cos the more you study , the more you grow.  Nobody gives birth to a child and the child becomes an adult in less than 1week. The child grows, with constant feeding and nurturing. Likewise, as we study the Word of God, we grow spiritually and also grow in grace.  2 Peter 1:2 NCV..."Grace and peace be given to you more and more, because you truly know God and Jesus our Lord."

Finally, remember Romans 5:17 NKJV, "For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."

Is Jesus In The House?

Here's a quick question for you,  "Is Jesus in your house?"  If not, what is the reason why you are not letting Him in?   Jesus wants to come closer to you,  it doesn't matter if you are sinner.  He said in Revelation 3:20 KJV,..."Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."    Read the verse carefully, Jesus did not say He will NOT knock on the door of sinners. He's knocking on every door.

Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart but some people don't want to let Him in.  Some will rather, open the door every now and then to ask Jesus for help and then quickly shut the door, leaving Him outside.  "Don't be deceived, God is not mocked..."Galatians 6:7 KJV.
One of the reasons some people don't wanna let Jesus inside their hearts is because they feel their hearts are dirty, they want to clean it up first before letting Him in.  Fact is only Jesus can clean up your mess.  If you could clean it yourself, then God wouldn't have sent Jesus to die for you.  Receive Jesus today, let Him occupy your innermost being. Make Him the Lord of your life today.  Remember, Hebrews 3:15 NKJV,...'while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice,  Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” '

You, God And His Word!

It is amazing how some people need God to do something for them, maybe miracles, answer to prayers, but they really don't know much about God.  They don't know His Word and they are not even bothered to find out what His Word say.  You cannot separate God from His Word and God cannot do anything for you outside His Word. John 1 v 1,3 says,..."In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."  Everything we need in life can also be found in the Word of God. (Your Holy Bible).

 Romans 1 verse 16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

The Gospel is Good News, it's Word of God and God's power is in His Word, so if you expect a miracle from God, better get into His Word, find out what it says about your situation, and start confessing it in faith!  As Christians, we are saved by confessing God's Word and we live a life of victory confessing God's Word.  God's Word never fails!  If you have a situation, it doesn't matter if the most powerful Pastor prays for you, it's the Word of God in you will ensure you have and retain your miracle.  Remember, God UPHOLDS all things by the Word of His Mighty Power. Hebrews 1 v 3.

Matthew 18:21-22 NKJV,..."Then Peter came to Him(Jesus) and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you,  up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."  

Okay, the verses above show the discussion between Jesus had with Peter on forgiveness.  Jesus told Peter to forgive his brother 70 x 7.  Well, one must be nuts in other to keep counting someone's offences up to 490 times.

Now if our Lord Jesus Christ expects us to forgive those who offend us 490 times, how much more God Himself? God cannot ask us to do what He Himself cannot do, that will be unjust and we know He is Just, for God Himself is perfection.  This means, no matter how many times you sin against God, He will forgive you!   If you sin, ask God to forgive you, receive His forgiveness and keep it moving.  1 John 1:9 NKJV,..."If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us  our  sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Refuse to feel condemned because condemnation will rob you of your faith. The enemy will make you feel you deserve to be punished and that's you are going through what you are passing through.  The Bible calls him accuser of brethren. 

God said in Isaiah 43:25 NKJV,...“I,  even  I,  am  He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins."  Also, in Hebrews 8:12 NKJV,..."For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness,  and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Get Turned On!

Don't get too familiar with the Word of God where you don't feel any excitement in your spirit when you hear the Word. Don't let the Word become redundant to you.  Jesus said in John 6:63 NKJV ,..."It is the Spirit who gives life; the  flesh profits nothing. The  words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."

You may be going to church everyday, involved in all the church activities(which is good), but always look forward to when the message is preached.  Get turned on by the Word of God!   If you are born again then you are born of the Word.  1 Peter 1:23 KJV,..."Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."   

If you find you are loosing interest in God's Word, then you need to reactivate the Holy Spirit in you. Start Speaking In Tongues. Get yourself charged up, plug in to the Holy Ghost, it won't be long, you'll start bubbling over again with the joy of the Spirit.

In addition, make sure you are walking in love, bitterness has a way of robbing you of your joy. Forgive who you have to forgive (including yourself and keep it moving).

Remember the story of Elizabeth (John the Baptist's mom) and Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus...well, Mary went to visit Elizabeth, both were pregnant, Mary was carrying the Living Word (Jesus) in her womb. Elizabeth saw her and said, "For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy."  Luke 1:44 KJV.

God Is Greater Than Them All.

Exodus 7:12 NKJV,  "For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods."

If you are familiar with the story of the 'exodus', then the scripture above will be familiar to you.  If not, please go and read the book of Exodus, it's really an interesting story (will make a nice super story for kids too).  It's about how God used Moses to deliver the people of Israel from the Egyptians with a Mighty hand.  

Aaron(Moses' Assistant), threw his rod to the ground in front of king Pharaoh and it turned to a serpent(snake).  Pharaoh's magicians also threw their rods on the ground and they turned to snakes.  Am pretty sure the palace was filled with snakes. But Aaron's rod(snake) swallowed up the Egyptians' snakes.  We don't know how many they were, but they sure were many.

 The Egyptian magicians wanted to show they could match power with power...but no matter how powerful the devil may seem to be, it's no match for God!  Never allow yourself be intimidated by the adversary, if God is with you, you are BIG.  Nothing can bring you down.  The Bible says in 1 John 4:4 NKJV,..."You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."

Praise God, Even When You Don't Feel Like.

Revelation 4:11 KJV,  "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

It's easy to give God praise when everything is alright, but hard to even think of worship when things are not exactly going the way we want them to go. (I know 'cos I've been there).   I believe that our strength lies in praising God which brings us joy in the Holy Ghost for the joy of the Lord is our strength. Nehemiah 8 verse 10.

Give thanks to God always whether good or bad, just try and remove sad thoughts from your minds, find something good to think about, maybe the fact that you are alive...sing a song, do a dance, shout hallelujah!  Never allow yourself to be sad, 'cos that's where the devil wants you to be.  Sadness breathes fear, it causes depression and everything negative.  No matter what situation you find yourself in, always remember all things are working together for your good.  Romans 8 verse 28.

Our Present Hour Position.

Colossians 1:12-14 LEB,  "...giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you for a share of the inheritance of the saints in light, who has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have the redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

When I study my Bible, I pay more attention on the tenses (esp the New Testament)

It brings clarity to my understanding of the Scripture.  The Bible verses above does show what God has already done for us (for the born-again christian).

God already qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.  God also has rescued us from the domain(authority) of darkness and has equally transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son(Jesus Christ).

Now this means, satan no longer has authority over us, but if you don't know it, he will take you for a ride.  As a Christian, your sins are forgiven and you are under the authority and leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Be conscious of this, don't let your mind tell you otherwise. Let this be your mindset always. God has delivered you from hell/darkness/evil and not only should you believe it, make it your confession always for when you resist the devil, he will flee from you.

Please take your time and meditate on this scripture again and again, it will come alive to you.  God bless you.

Romans Chapter 8.

One of my best chapters in the Bible is Romans Chapter 8.  From verse one to the end, they are awesome.  I read them when I want to remind myself of God's love for me.  If you are reading this blog for some reasons you feel alone, sad, helpless, depressed etc., please get your Bible and study Romans chapter 8.  I promise you, your spirit will be lifted up.  This chapter makes me feel so good that I jump like a little child. LOL.    I would like to share some of the verses with you.  Please read them carefully. In fact, try and take sometime out to read the whole chapter, you will be glad you did.

Romans 8:31-39 NLT,
"What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won't he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God's right hand, pleading for us.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, "For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.") No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Unbelief Will Cost You.

I made up my mind to be open and receptive of God's Word. I even decided not to apply logic to it, but to accept the Word of God like a baby.  God cannot do anything for you if you don't believe.

Do you know that there were some people our Lord Jesus could not heal when He was in the world.  The Bible didn't say Jesus Would not heal them, it says He Could not.  It means He tried but couldn't.  This is Jesus we are talking about!    

Mark 6:4-6 LEB,...'And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, and among his relatives, and in his own household.” And he was not able to do any miracle in that place except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was astonished because of their unbelief.  And he was going around among the villages teaching."

We are to make a personal decision of choosing to believe the Word of God, only then  will we be able to see God's power manifest in our lives.  Besides, according to the Bible, coming from Jesus Himself, the second people to go to hell are UNBELIEVERS.

Revelation 21:8 NCV,"...'But cowards, those who refuse to believe, who do evil things, who kill, who sin sexually, who do evil magic, who worship idols, and who tell lies—all these will have a place in the lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”'

Speak The Right Words Into Your Life!

In other to speak the right words into your life, you must have the right mindset. Bad tree cannot produce good fruits.  Jesus said in Luke 6:45 NET,.."The good person out of the good treasury of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasury produces evil, for his mouth speaks from what fills his heart."

However, the Word of God can give you the right mindset. Romans 12:2 NLT,..."Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

Sickness: Meditate and confess the Word of God concerning your healing. You must not say "I am sick"  That's not your name. It's just like saying "I am John". Don't claim that sickness. Rather say 'I feel sick'.  However, it's better to say, 'I refuse to recognize this sickness because it's not from God. The Bible says, "By His Stripes I am Healed"  therefore I declare I am healed in Jesus name!'   It may sound strange, the devil may even laugh at you, but pay him no attention, just continue to speak the Word into your life.

Fear: Say 'I reject fear in the name of Jesus. "For God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind." '  2 Timothy 1:7

Poverty:  2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV,..'For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.' So say, 'I refuse to be poor, I am rich in Jesus name'

You Are Made In God's Image & Likeness!

Genesis 1:26. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness."

Since we are made to look and act like God, we need to find out how God functions in other to enjoy this life!  The Bible is what will help us achieve this.

Genesis chapter 1 shows us how God created this world with His Word. Genesis 1:3 KJV, "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."  Since you are like God, then you should also CREATE YOUR OWN WORLD WITH YOUR WORDS.

Whether you know it or not what you say is what you get!   Jesus said in Matthew 12:37 "for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." ( He didn't say except when your joking).

Proverbs 6:2 NIV,  "you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth."

You can never live a happy, successful and prosperous life if you don't speak right. Keeping quiet will not cut it either else other people will speak wrong things into your life.  This is why God said in Joshua 1:8 NIV,  "Keep this Book of the Law always on your LIPS; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

Whatever it is that you need, find out what the Bible says about it and continue to say it into your life. Be it healing, prosperity, protection, peace etc.  The Word of God covers it all.

Your World Is In Your Mouth, What You Say Is What You Will See.

Healing Is For You.

God is still in the healing business.  I believe in divine health & also in divine healing.  Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with medical science, it's God that gave man science knowledge for medicine. But do remember that the doctor cannot cure all types of sickness.  You must look unto God for your total healing.

Isaiah 53 v 5 says that by His stripes(Jesus), you are healed. 1 Peter 2 v 24 says, 'by His stripes (Jesus), you have been healed.  

What does this mean to you?  Do you know that you can walk out of any sickness today by speaking the Word of God in faith to your body.  

Check this out...Proverbs 4:20-22 NLT..."My child, pay attention to what I say.  Listen carefully to my words.  Don't lose sight of them.  Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body."   
Here's another one,Romans 8:11 CEB,...."If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your human bodies also, through his Spirit that lives in you."

Please open your heart today & believe the Word of God for you. If you are sick, MEDITATE & SPEAK THE ABOVE SCRIPTURES OVER YOUR BODY DAY & NIGHT. Also declare that YOU ARE HEALED IN JESUS NAME.  Trust in the Lord and believe in His Word. Remember there's no limit in what God can do in your life by His Word.  Only Believe and Confess His Word.

This Is What Jesus Said About You!

I made up my mind a long time ago to believe the Bible. I believe the Word of God  because it's the truth, and the Word works!

After the resurrection of Jesus, before He left this world, He told His disciples in  Mark 16:15-18 KJV......."And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

If you are born again, then the scripture above are your attributes.  But it will NOT work for you if you doubt or are ignorant of it.  This year, make up your mind to live out your full potentials as a child of God.  

Every child of God has power, power to change things in the name of Jesus.  Refuse to allow the devil box you into a corner.  Put the Word of God at work and see God's power manifested in you.  Remember God is God and He is all powerful. You are the one that need Him and His power is in His Word which has been given to us...only believe.  

What Are You Conscious Of?

Some Christians are really not conscious of God's love.  The saying 'God loves you'  sounds like a cliche to them. However, failure to live daily in the consciousness of God's love can make one a bitter Christian & you will truly short-change yourself. I will remind us of a little familiar story.

Remember the Parable of the Prodigal Son, it's on Luke Chapter 15 vs 11-32.  Here's the summary.
 
A wealthy man had two sons, one day the younger son asked his father to give him his own inheritance.  His father then shared all he had in two, gave him half, the younger man went away & squandered them all.  Well, he started suffering & decided to come back and ask for his father's forgiveness.  His father being so over joyed celebrated his return, killing the fattest cow and throwing a big party for him.
The older brother was not happy, according to the Bible, "The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out pleaded with him. But he answered his father, "Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you & never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never  gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.  But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!'
“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours." (Luke 15:28-30).

1st. The older brother started counting his self righteous works for his father.  (How many times have you reviewed in your mind how much of a good person you are and for that God should treat you good?)
2nd. He actually used the word 'slaving' (He saw himself as a slave in His own father's house)
3rd. He was waiting for his father to give him. (What about ask and Receive?)
4th. Check out the way he addressed his brother, showing he had so much bitterness in him.

Hear his father's response. "Everything I have is yours"  Do you know that's exactly what God is saying to us today.  All things are yours, all you need do is ask and receive..but it will be difficult to ask or even to receive if you fail to see how much God loves you.  Be conscious of God's love always, it will make life much easier.  God loves us passionately and Jesus Christ is the proof of His love for you and me.

Never Put Your Trust In Man!

Although God may use man/woman to bless you, as much as you should show your gratitude to them, that does not mean you should put your trust in man.  See he or she was just an instrument.  If they didn't do it for you, God would use another person to bless you because He cares for you deeply.
Likewise, do not put your trust in your own ability as man. Your human strength will fail you. For it is not my power, nor by might, but by my Spirit says the Lord. 

Never put your trust in man. JEREMIAH 17:5-8 CEV, "I, the [Lord], have put a curse on those who turn from me and trust in human strength.  They will dry up like a bush in salty desert soil, where nothing can grow.

But I will bless those who trust me, the [Lord].   They will be like trees growing beside a stream— trees with roots that reach down to the water, and with leaves that are always green.  They bear fruit every year and are never worried by a lack of rain."

Yes, be prepared always. Get educated, be informed, become skillful etc. But always remember, that without God, you will achieve nothing.  Ecclesiastes 9:11 NLT..."I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time."

THE GREAT CONFESSION!

Another name for CHRISTIANITY is 'The Great Confession'  

The bible says in Romans 10:9-10 KJV......"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

That's all you need to be saved...to escape hell fire and be sure of heaven. Confessing Jesus as your Lord.  It doesn't stop there, to live a good life here on earth, you will still need to keep confessing the Word of God over your life, for the Word of God in your mouth is a double edged sword capable to cut through anything...also the Word of God in your mouth is a seed that bears much fruit.   Go on, keep talking the Word of God, your life depends on it.

Another Kind Of Prayer That Works!

Matthew 18:18-20 KJV,  "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them"....................................Jesus never lied, and since these are His Words, I believe them and they work for me.

YOUR PROBLEM IS YOUR MIND.

Proverbs 23:7 NKJV..."For as he thinks in his heart, so  is  he."

Personally, I try to control my thoughts to think right and good things.  This topic can never be over-emphasized at all.  Even the Bible tells us in many ways to guard our thoughts.  The difference between a poor man and a rich man is his thoughts. Even sickness, oppression, depression etc, they build their roots in the mind before manifesting in  the physical realm.

Proverbs 4:23 KJV..."Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

Isaiah 26:3 KJV...."Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

The power to think positive comes only from God thru Jesus Christ, so you need to study and meditate on God's Word in other to change your mindset.  This is a must-do if you want to enjoy life.

Remember, "Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God"...PHILIPPIANS 4:6 CEV.

He Did It For You.

You see, some Christians get carried away by the sufferings of our Lord Jesus at the time of His death; they spend time feeling sorry for Him(Jesus), that they end up forgetting the reason behind His pains.

Jesus died for us..for you and me. He allowed Himself to be flogged, spat on, crucified, bruised because of you and me.  As much as we reflect on His pains and sufferings, don't stay in the realm forever. Be a partaker of the glory that followed.

When Jesus walked on the streets of Jerusalem to be crucified after the soldiers whipped Him, people spat on Him etc, the Bible said in Luke 23:27-28 KJV ,  "And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children."

Jesus suffered for our sake but HE IS ALIVE and seated at the right hand of God.  It will do you good to focus on the finished work of Jesus.  Remember it's by His stripes that you were healed, this means you should not be sick!  That's why Jesus was flogged. Don't let His pains be in vain in your life.  While you are at it, make sure you receive Jesus as your Lord so you don't go to hell because Jesus already went there for you.  If you want to know how to make Jesus your Lord and avoid going to hell, click here.

More Nuggets for you for 2013.

Praying amiss is like trying to use the wrong key to open a lock/door. It doesn't matter how long you keep trying, it will not open until you use the right key.(meanwhile u are still praying). Praying the wrong way will make you a frustrated Christian, you will even start doubting God.

Learn to pray with revelation...it makes praying more interesting n very effective. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you how to pray and please pray according to the Word of God.

The Word of God for you.

This year take the Word of God seriously, inject the Word of God in your body, your spirit, your soul...literally. The Word of God is real, it is LIFE N SPIRIT. It is sharper than two edged swords. The Word of God is God. You inject the Word of God by making it ur constant confession. 

Remember to avoid anything negative, your mind is the most sensitive part of your being, refuse any negative news, information, etc...your spirit has a way of digesting the thoughts/photos in from your mind and once your spirit gets a hold of them thoughts, it either produces faith or fear....and the next thing is your mouth will speak either faith-words or fear-words, which can either make you or mar you.

The Word of the Lord for you this year.

This is what God is saying to somebody...this year, try something new, put the Word of God to test literally. Do something new with the Word of God. 
If you have a situation, find out what the Word of God said about that situation, meditate upon that Word and speak that Word of God over that situation...and please don't give up...Watch and see the Word of God at work. Nothing is impossible with you if you believe.

So this year 2 things will happen, 'Favor and Judgement.' While favor is heaped on those who believe in God, there will be judgement on those that do not believe, especially on the wicked. Get right with God or be left behind.

My New Year Resolution.

I just have one new yr resolution....it's still me, myself and the Lord Jesus.

So much to know, so much to learn and so much to accomplish in the Lord my God. Jesus really is all I need to keep moving forward, to keep making progress. Leggoo!!

For I am your strength saith The Lord. I have enabled you. I have empowered you.
My hand is upon you, and I have exalted you with my hand of righteousness for thou are mine saith The Lord.
Thus saith The Lord, I have given you an understanding heart and my wisdom is perfected in you. Walk in the light of my word. I have made you victorious in all things therefore walk in victory. Walk in the consciousness of victory. Do not look at the shadows for I have laughed at the enemy. I have laughed at the adversary. Therefore consider him not. Consider not your adversaries for they are fallen before you.

I have exalted you...
For in this year of Favour saith The Lord I will demonstrate my glory before you and men shall know that you are mine.
For you shall show forth my praise saith The Lord and your mouth shall be filled with testimonies of my goodness. I am your shield... It is your year of favour. So saith The Lord unto you...."

Make sure you are live everyday in the favor of God. Speak favor over your life and expect favor everywhere you go. Also reach out to others in favor. May God bless you, have a prosperous 2013.
