Easter Is The Reason For Every Season!

1 Corinthians 15:17, 20 ..."And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. But now is Christ risen from the dead.."
As lovely as Christmas is to us, Easter is the climax of everything.  This is because Jesus took our place, He died for the sins of the whole world, He also paid the full price of our sins and defeated the devil and his cohorts on our behalf.
Colossians 2:13-15,"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."

The death and resurrection of Jesus made it possible for Him to live in our hearts. This is why Christianity is NOT a religion. Christianity is the manifestation of God in humanity.  Jesus died, rose from the dead and He now lives inside us by His Spirit, now we are super human. We reign over sin, devil, sicknesses, diseases. We are one with God Almighty! We can call God 'Papa'...This is totally amazing. God is no longer mad at us because of our sins..We are at peace with Him.  No wonder the Bible said, "Christ in us, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27.
LET'S REJOICE! CHRIST IS RISEN! THIS IS CHRISTIANITY!  JESUS NOW LIVES IN YOU AND ME. As Jesus is, so are we right here, right now! 1 John 4:17.

Learn To Forgive Yourself.

Beloved of God, Jesus came into this world for you and I, to make us the sons of God.  Since man was originally condemned due to the first Adam's fall in the garden of Eden, the second Adam Jesus came to make us righteous by shedding His blood for the forgiveness of our sins.
Romans 5:17, "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)" 
It's important to note that one cannot reign in life if he/she is living in sin.  You need the to receive the abundant grace of God to walk away from sin.  Grace has been given, take advantage of it.  Ask God to forgive you, cleanse you from your sins and declare that you have received abundance of grace to overcome sin in Jesus name.
1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Beloved, when you ask God to forgive you, please believe that He has..it doesn't matter that satan may be plaguing your mind with guilt.  You must believe God's Word, forgiveness and also forgive yourself.  If you don't forgive yourself, you will feel like God is far away from you and you will loose faith..and that is exactly where the enemy wants you to be in the arena of fear, doubt and unbelief.  Don't make God a liar.  The blood of His Son Jesus Christ is more than able to wash and cleanse any sin in the world.  You can't receive God's forgiveness if you don't forgive yourself. Remember, Revelation 12:11, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Love Anyhow.

Practice love..
Love intentionally..
Remember, hope expects, faith receives, but LOVE gives..
Love is practical..
Love can be felt, seen, observed..
Love not because people deserve it..
Love like your Father in heaven..
Love even if you don't feel like..
Love on purpose, love anyhow.

Don't Be Like Martha!

Beloved of God, I like the story of Martha & her sister Mary. Both of them loved Jesus, but they had different approach to the Master.  Jesus paid them a visit, Martha went to the kitchen to serve, Mary simply went to seat at the feet of Jesus to hear His Word. Martha got upset and went to Jesus and the following conversation took place. "But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:40-42.
In John 11, Jesus came to raise their brother Lazarus back to life, but Martha was too upset & worried to hear what Jesus said to her.  John 11:25-26,"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"  Martha may not have heard Jesus right or believed Him because of what happened in verse 39, "Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?" John 11:39-40. (Pls read the whole story John chapter 11).

Jesus did raise Lazarus from the dead, Glory to God! I pray we never get too worried and busy like Martha and not pay attention to God's Word. Remember, both women are followers of Jesus, I mean you could call them Christians. However, Martha worried much, she seems to want to be in charge of everything, forgetting what was most important, THE WORD OF GOD.  May we not be that Christian who gets too busy, not paying attention to God's Word. The Word of God needs our 100% attention. My prayer is that we worry less like Martha and be more like Mary..only seeking to be at the feet of Jesus and hear His Word.  God bless you.

Time To Receive Your Healing!

Beloved, if you are feeling sick in your body or you know someone who doesn't feel too good...memorize and personalize the following scriptures and believe them with your whole heart. Remember, it is your faith that makes you whole.  Jesus died for you...He did everything for you and I..all we need to is to believe and receive without doubt and also be thankful to Him for all He has done.  Say the verses below loud enough to yourself over and over again.

 Isaiah:4-5 AMP....."Surely Jesus has borne MY griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried MY sorrows and pains [of punishment],..... But He was wounded for MY transgressions, He was bruised for MY guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for ME was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him I AM healed and made whole."  (Lord I believe and I receive, thank You for making me whole).

Personalize the verse and read them over and over again for yourself. Anytime you feel pain or sick, don't be afraid, just keep saying these Words over and over until your spirit gets a hold of it, you will know 'cos suddenly you will feel the joy of the Lord and His peace welling up inside of you. YOU EXPERIENCE POWER IN GOD'S WORD WHEN YOU SPEAK IT.  God wants us well..He loves us so much, so much.  May God restore you and bring complete healing and wholeness to you in Jesus name.

What Matters Most To You?

My favorite T.V station ever is TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). I mean I could watch that station all day long.  I just wanna hear them talk about Jesus all day long. After all, every other News station has one bad news or another to tell, if you doubt me, turn on the T.V and watch the news for 5mins.
So, here I was listening to Author Blessit..He is the man that walked through the world bearing a large cross, preaching Jesus. He is in his 70's, been walking around with the cross for 40 yrs. Boy! I tell you, people are doing so much for Jesus. I feel ashamed of myself when I hear what others are doing for Christ.  (This Saturday, my husband and I are definitely joining the church for evangelism :)  Recently, I developed interest in praying for souls. I wanna do much, I know God will show me with time)
This Authur Blessit told us how he saw Jesus physically, in His glory and splendor! His description of Jesus is mind blowing. He said he felt so much love, joy, peace, and waves and waves of glory flooding him..all he could do was gaze at the beauty of Jesus, he said his clothing was whiter than white and that Jesus was so bright and so beautiful.  I wish it was me..I wish Jesus will appear to me too. I know I will see Him someday, but seeing Him a little earlier will rock my world for ever.   Listening to this man's encounter with Jesus, dawned on me that life is completely empty without Jesus.  Jesus is the beauty of life!  All that quest for wealth, strive, malice, envy, jealousy, bitterness etc, they are nothing. Highest you live for 120yrs and you die to face eternity..wonder who you will be seeing, Jesus or satan. You either choose Jesus now or you automatically choose satan by default.  I made up my mind even more tonight to stand steadfast in my relationship with Jesus, all I want is to be intimate with Him, to experience Him not just from my Bible. I want to have an experiential personal knowledge of Christ and be continually filled with His love and glory.  That's all that matters you know.

Every Day For Jesus!

Beloved of God, life is beautiful not because of the material things we possess, new car, new home, gold, silver etc. These things can disappear in a twinkle or you can be dead in a minute, leaving them behind. Life is beautiful because of Jesus. Jesus is the reason we live in divine health, divine prosperity, divine protection, and all the beautiful things divinity has brought.  The Bible says, "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace (grace heaped upon grace)..John 1:16."  Jesus is full of grace and out His fullness we all have benefited. You need His grace to carry you through each day, to put you ahead of any negative situation.  How do I receive this grace you ask? By studying His Word, speaking His Word over the situation, giving praises to God etc..Live Every Day For Jesus!  No wonder the Bible says, 2 Peter 3:18, "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."  So have you prayed today? Have you studied your Bible today, Did you sing praises to God today? Are you living for Jesus today?

Christian Growth Is Very Important!

Galatians 4:1, "Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all"  Beloved of God, it is very important that we take our Christian life very seriously, else you will be like a babe/slave and can be easily manipulated by life circumstances.  A Christian is not normal, you are different and must live differently.  A true Born-Again Christian has the life and nature of God in him/her and must live by the principle of God's kingdom if he/she wants to enjoy life.  Look at the scripture again and meditate on it.  The reason why some Christians suffer unnecessarily is because most are lazy, lazy to pray, lazy to go to church, lazy to read your Bible etc. We have to start training ourselves in the things of God. Don't let your Christianity be only on Sundays, you must make extra effort to know God better, because the more you know God, the more you know yourself since you are born of God.  James 4:8, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.."

God's Word Today!

Beloved of God, God bless you. I thank God for this blog, I opened this blog not out of sheer holier-than-thou-attitude (after all, my righteousness is from God not by any of my actions).  This started out to be a gossip blog, but somehow, I felt guilty, guilty because I felt it was not my calling. I really don't know where God is taking me to, but for now, this is what He wants me to do and I thank Him for giving me wisdom for it and for you my readers.

God loves us so much! It's not a cliche and until you open your heart to receive His love, satan will always put you in bondage. If you are not saved, what are you waiting for? Getting saved is the easiest thing to do that will bring you eternal joy! Jesus died for us, it was an exchange! Jesus being righteous was made sin (God laid our sins on Him), then we (the sinners) took His righteousness..THE GOSPEL OF SUBSTITUTION.  God loves us so much, He did not just save us from hell, He also to wants us to enjoy life here on earth. 

If you are already born-again, happy are you. But remember, you need to study the Word to grow, God expects us to grow and live by the principles of His Word.  This will help us handle victoriously any obstacle we encounter in life.

Ephesians 6:10-18, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole ARMOR OF GOD, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand! Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"

Her name is Crystal Nonye Mbanugo, 28year old female , Final year french student of ABU Zaria. an indigene of Nnewi, Anambra State.

She is an Only child of her mother and her father is late.

In January 2013 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor: Left sided glioblastoma multiforme, and left sided cerebral edema.  

This has caused her to differ her semester at school because of her inability to walk unaided and pain and paralysis of right side.

The doctor in Nigeria referred her to Germany for the surgery. Total cost is 8million Naira. This she can't afford on her own. 

Please I beg well meaning individuals to come to her aid and support her surgery in Germany. Please I beg you. Help Keep Nonye alive. Please.

The Word In My Mouth!

1 Timothy 4:15,  "Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all."
Beloved, meditating on the Word is the key to constant success in life, this includes, thinking, musing, and muttering the Word always.  You know as the sheep chews its cud, that's how we are to meditate on the Word.  The above scripture also says we should give ourselves entirely to the Word.  This means, the Word of God should be paramount in our lives. It should be the only thing we live by, we should Speak the Word, Think the Word and Do the Word. Anything outside the Word is absolutely unacceptable!  Remember, you don't stop until your profiting becomes evident for all to see, until people start noticing the glory of God in your life, and even after that you never stop talking the Word.

Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."  God told me that whatever I need His manifestation on, I should stick to His Word, if I don't see it yet, I haven't said it enough. The Word of God is able to change anything, absolutely anything.
Finally,  Joshua 1:8,"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

Fear Not!

Beloved, are you bothered about something? Are you afraid that God seems far from you? Do you need some encouragement from His Word? Here's the Word of God for you today.  Study it, memorize it and keep saying them to yourself. The power is in your mouth...and remember, Jesus loves. Never ever forget that.God loves you personally.  May God's grace and favor be with you always in Jesus name..Amen.


Isaiah 41:10-13 AMP
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. Behold, all they who are enraged and inflamed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; they who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all. For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!

Can Two Walk Together Except They Agree?

Beloved, Amos 3: 3 says, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"  This is a very important Biblical question.  For instance, the only way a marriage can work is if both the husband and wife are constantly on the same page, in agreement, in harmony etc. I tell you the truth, there's nothing that husband and wife cannot achieve if they agree. Hence, the reason the enemy scatters marriages with divorce. The only way two can agree to walk together is if they live in love. Love is the key.
Matthew 18:19, "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."  This is a sure way to receive answers for your prayers.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?  As believers, we have the Holy Ghost living inside us. God said He will be with us forever. He lives in us for a purpose, to guide us, lead us, teach us, protect us, correct us, direct us and so much more..but it will be hard to walk with the Holy Ghost if you don't agree. How do you agree? First, by listening to Him and studying His Word.  It's important to know that God cannot tell you anything outside His Word.  God cannot move in our lives if we don't agree with Him, we cannot enjoy His blessings. That's why some people suffer unnecessarily.  Finally Beloved, remember God is with us, and if God is for us, NOBODY/NOTHING can be against us, but we must agree to walk with God by believing His Word.  God bless you.

Walk By Faith!

Beloved, you see, the Bible stated in so many places that we are to live by faith.  The only way to live as a Christian is by faith.  You became a child of God by faith (if you are not saved, please click here).  Remember the Bible said, we should do all things in the name of Jesus..Col 3:17. So this means, I go to bed in the name of Jesus, get up in His name, do all I my daily activities in His name by doing all according to His Word. This is faith!  Whatever I do should give God glory, so I refuse to worry, fear, doubt, in Jesus name. I refuse to consider what I feel or see. I go to church, pray, study my Bible and learn how to live by Godly principles and change things to my favor. I call forth those things that be not as though they were..Romans 4:17.  A Christian is an Overcomer, overcoming what? The challenges of life! How? By faith, by the Word of God. Refusing to accept anything else contrary to God's Word.
Faith grows..it's like the human muscles you build gradually until you become very strong. For every challenge you overcome by faith, you are growing.  God wants us to grow, and act like Him cos we are like Him. Hence Jesus said we should have the faith of God..Mark 11:22.  Below are some Bible verses on faith for meditation.

Mark 11:23-24..."For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
Hebrews 10:38..."Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."
Romans 1:17..."For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

Get Rid Of Bitterness and Un-forgiveness Fast!

Beloved, you cannot afford to allow bitterness and un-forgiveness to reside in you. It will cost you a lot.  Remember, since God is love, bitterness and un-forgiveness will hinder the flow of God's power in your life.  This can push you out of grace,  it can expose you to the attack of the enemy and hinder your prayers. In fact, un-forgiveness can keep you sick.  1 John 2:9, "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now."  Be quick to forgive and receive forgiveness. It is quite simple just make up your mind to forgive and receive forgiveness.  Let peace reign in your life, refuse to take things too personal.  If you consider your own errors of which God forgave you for, then you should be able to forgive others fast.

Hebrews 12:14-15, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled"  If you are expecting a miracle in your life, if you want to grow in the things of God, if you want God to hear and answer your prayers, get rid of every bitterness and un-forgiveness in you. Ask God to help you, then make an effort, show some love.  Remember, perfect love casts out fear..nothing can break the power of love, the devil can't stand love so he fights it, but always make sure you are walking in love. You can do it if you are a child of God because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Romans 5:5.

God Loves You As You Are!

For many of us, we know that God is all powerful and He can do anything. Many people are not doubting the power of God at all.  However, many doubt if God is willing to bless them and love them personally and unconditionally.  Some of us pray with the anticipation that God might not answer if it's not His will, that's not true! Remember faith is believing that God loves you, He is for you and never against you.   Ask God to open your heart to receive His love.  It is so easy to doubt God's love especially when you consider your sins, but remember,"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  1 John 1:9. 

Matthew 8:2-3, "And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed."
This story is touching because leprosy being a contagious disease wad avoided like a plague.  In early days, people with leprosy were isolated, nobody touches them or even wants to interact with them..imagine living a life with nobody showing you any physical affection.  Jesus would have healed this man without the physical contact, but He went ahead to touch him to show the extent of His love.  Beloved, Jesus loves us just the way we are. Say this prayer, 'FATHER, THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME JUST THE WAY I AM. I AM BEAUTIFUL. I OPEN MY HEART TODAY TO RECEIVE YOUR LOVE IN JESUS NAME!

Go For The Word!

Oh My God! I learnt so much in church yesterday, I have to slowly meditate on them one after the other until it permeates into my mind, spirit, bones and marrows.
The Word of God is not just an ordinary alphabetical letter or mere words, Jesus said the His Words are Life and Spirit.  John 6:63, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."  It's very important we understand the efficacy of God's Word.  The Word of God that comes out of your mouth can change and create anything.  The Word of God spoken in faith brings healing to you.  Proverbs 4:20-22, "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."

If you are Christian, you are born of God's Word and you can only live a victorious life by sticking to the Word of God.  Never allow a day to pass by without meditating of God's Word.   Joshua 1:8, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."   You must take this seriously, get the Word of God inside you always..ignorance of God's Word is one of the main reasons why bad things may happen to a good Christian.  God said in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee."
