I read blogs..mostly Nigerian blogs so I got to know about Goldie Harvey. A Nigerian Singer with loads of talent, full of life and always on the go..she had her own style that gave her a name in the showbiz. Some people love her, some love to hate on her. News filtered yesterday Feb. 14th that she has passed on. Just like that she just returned from the USA Grammy awards. The details of her death I don't know much but it's confirmed that she has passed on to glory (I hope). She had money, she had fame, she was full of life with a lot of plans for the year..she even took photos with American Ciara with plans of a collaboration. Am sure she didn't know death was around the corner.
Question for us. Are we living everyday for the Lord? How close are you to God? There's more to life than what we see with our physical eyes. If Jesus is not the Lord of your life, what are you waiting for? What makes you think tomorrow is promised you as an unbeliever? What if you die and end up finding out that truly hell is real as much as heaven and somehow you missed an opportunity to make heaven? Are you willing to continue to pursue your earthly dreams at the expense of your soul? Please make room for Christ in your heart..take a step back and run an inventory on your life..if it doesn't glorify God, change your style ASAP. Make a decision to live for God everyday. Goldie's death pained me like I knew her personally..I pray she made heaven cos that's all that matters. We all are on a journey. Choose where you wanna go. I choose heaven, I choose Christ, I choose Almighty God, I choose Jesus. What about you?

ReplyDeleteI know I learned from her death, I pray others did too...nothing matters in this world than Jesus. Man's spirit will live forever, but it's up to us to choose where.
